Howard Lutt

Howard Lutt is a broadcast operations leader with more than 20 years of experience managing live studio and control room production in high-pressure news and sports environments. He has led crews in the control room, studio, and out in the field across the country and beyond as part of his longtime careers at CNN and ESPN. He's passionate about the perfect angle, lighting, and technology that brings live events to your screen without distraction. He's used to executing complex live broadcasts, including breaking news and national events. He is comfortable in the director's chair whether it's a debate, presidential address, funeral at the National Cathedral, or SportsCenter.

Outside of the control room, Howard enjoys spending time with his wife and two sons, sitting rink-side for their hockey games or at the baseball field pitching batting practice until dark.
